THE ROLE
Overview
The warehouse team includes a Senior Warehouse Team Leader, three team leaders, Truck
Instructor & Warehouse Lead, and Warehouse Operators of different skills and levels; all report into
the Warehouse Manager. The warehouse team works closely with the Logistics team based at the
same location.
Team Description
The Foiling Department plays a vital role in our production process and is essential to everything we
do. This team is responsible for applying high-quality foil finishes ensuring products meet our exacting
standards for appearance and durability.
The department operates across three shifts to maintain continuous production, and is overseen by
the Production Manager – Lamination, supported by three Supervisors, each managing a dedicated
shift. As a Foiling Operator, you will be part of a collaborative and skilled team that takes pride in
precision, consistency, and meeting tight deadlines while maintaining quality at every stage.
Key duties
- Works from picking lists, picks orders accurately and efficiently.
- Checks products for visual and physical defect or damage.
- Picks orders at varying heights using a picking platform (once trained and licensed to do so)
- Participates in stock counts.
- Checks picking machinery for any problems/defects at the beginning of the shift and logs
details on the relevant check sheets.
- Logs numbers of orders completed during the shift and any problems.
- Completes all paperwork accurately and on time.
- Keeps work area neat and tidy at all time by undertaking routine housekeeping duties.
- Advises Team Leader of any problems likely to affect the efficiency of the warehouse.
- Uses Kinetic handling techniques at all times when lifting/handling product.
- To ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and promptly in accordance
with Company procedure.
- Works in accordance with all health and safety instructions, notices and safe working
practices.
- Undertakes any other reasonable duties as instructed by the Supervisor/Leader or Line
Manager.

THE CANDIDATE
It is anticipated that the successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
Qualifications
Essential
- No minimum qualifications.
Desirable
- Forklift Counterbalance Licence with Reach.
Experience and Knowledge Base
Essential
- Experienced in the safe driving of a forklift counterbalance truck (essential)
- Experienced within a warehouse or distribution department
- Excellent team working skills with the ability to work collaboratively and co-operatively with
colleagues.
Skills and Abilities
Essential
- Ability to use ladders/steps to carry out your duties.
- Able to manually lift/pull products of up to 25 Kilos from and to storage containers at varying
heights (person will rise and lower with truck)
- Able to read and accurately pick orders from a written pick list
- Able to operate a hand held electronic scanner
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to ensure effective
communication with a wide range of contacts both internal and external to the organisation.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Demonstration of the ability to work under sustained pressure and to tight deadlines.
- A flexible, pro-active approach to work including the ability to prioritise and re-prioritise to
achieve successful outcomes.

TERMS
- This is a full time, permanent role.
- 40 hours per week. Worked in a 3 weekly shift rotation of Earlies (6am – 2pm) and
Lates (2pm - 10pm) Monday to Friday and Nights (10pm - 6am) Sunday to Thursday.
With ½ hour paid break.
- Notice period: 4 weeks.
- The first 6 months will be a probationary period.
